Week 3 wrap-up

¡Hola!

And so ends Week 3 in Cádiz.  In order to save time and space I'm gonna do this SportsCenter-style, top 10 plays of the week:

10. Figured out my classes.
El horario
9. Made plans for Semana Santa--Italy with the lovely Becca!

8. Took a sunset walk with some chicas from the group
Not photoshopped
7. Went to an "intercambio" where Spanish people meet with Americans so everyone can practice their foreign language skills...except the Spaniards didn't show up.  It was all good though, a couple of us went to a bar near my house and got fresh-squeezed juice!
Passionfruit and Haw juice!
6. Had a very fun Thursday night at a new bar with a few of the ladies.  Although the photography slideshow that featured the bartenders in the nude was a tad awkward.

5. Went to mass at the cathedral about a block from my house.  It only lasted about half an hour, and I had no idea what the proper responses were in Spanish...but it was a cool experience.  Love me some Catholic mass.

4.Took a wonderful 4-hour walk/adventure to the new part of town, and watched another exquisite Cádiz sunset.

Sunset at Playa Victoria

We released our inner monkeys on the beach.
Just hanging out

The world is such a beautiful place!! AHHHH!!!

3. Rallied for a memorable Friday night on the town.  My phone couldn't handle it though, RIP Spanish cellphone.

2. Ate a "bomba francesa," there are no words that can accurately describe it.

1. Watched the FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid game in a packed Spanish bar.  It was as cool as it sounds.

And tonight, I'll be watching the Super Bowl at a bar that's live-streaming it for all the guiris around here!
Here's to American Football and Super Bowl commercials!

¡Salud!
